With a historic swell setting the scene in Cardiff, CA for the 2023 SAMBAZON World Junior Championships hosted by Best Western, the world’s best under-20 surfers battled it out for top honors.

But one surfer rose above the rest with power carves, agility, wave selection, and speed; 19-year-old Jarvis Earle. The young Australian bested Levi Slawson and has now advanced to the World Surf League Challenger Series where he will continue to chase his Championship Tour dreams.

Previous World Junior Champs include the likes of Andy Irons and Gabriel Medina, so you can expect more explosive performances and podium appearances from Jarvis.

Congratulations, Jarvis!
