Why you think your school will win WTW:
Hurley's Walk The Walk 2011, the year everything changed, why? Because Poway High has entered the competition. We Titans are Hurley. Why? It's not just because we are located 20 minutes away from the beach, it's not just because we wear Hurley on a daily basis, it's not just because almost all of our population surfs and skateboards as do our teachers, and it's not just because we are one of the most united schools you will ever see. We are the brains, we are the Titans, we are the competition, we are Hurley. We will win this competition because we Titans, live, thrive, play hard, and we work hard. We take challenges head on and we will not quit till there is a victory in our favor. The beach is our second home, with Hurley as our interior designer. It isn't just luck that got us our API score of 857, it isn't just luck that has gotten our many CIF's and national rankings in sports, academics, and school spirit, and it certainly will not be luck that helps us win Walk The Walk 2011. We are nothing but grateful and completely honored to be a part of this incredible competition and to show our gratitude we have taken this competition very seriously and have contributed nothing but our best. We will see you on the runway walking our walk.
