Eleven-year-old Rachael Tilly keeps racking up the hardware
Rachael Tilly won the ISF Middle School State Championships down in Oceanside this past weekend. Keep in mind this was her rookie year in middle school. A huge accomplishment. More importantly, she also won the ISF Scholar Award, which is an award given to the finalist with the highest GPA. Way to go, Rachael!

Fun surf session at San Onofre...perfect waves!!!
Yesterday I went to San'O for a surf session and the waves were ripping. The rights and lefts were just lining up perfectly. I got some really fun waves. Some of them i would ride all the way in, and having it low tide, i would have to do a belly flop onto the rocks. I went right after school and left when it was dark. One of my rights i got a really nice hang five and the banked left and got another nice hang five and a quick hang 10. That session was the best and i didn't wasnt to get out but the problem was i couldn't paddle. My arms turned to Spaggtti!!!! Well I was just really excited about that surf session and I wanted to tell people about it!!! Thanks for reading!

Rachael Tilly introduces herself.
Hello People!
I don't know if anybody is reading this but this is my first blog! My name is Rachael Tilly and I am 11 years old. I am sponsored by Dewey Weber, Hurley, and Smart Girls Who Surf. So now that we have introductions over with I can tell you about yesterday's after-school session. It was super windy and i went down to one of my local spots, T-Street. No one was out because it was super blown out. So i went out and I got a quick, fun session. The wind made it a little frustrating but i adapted to the conditions and got some pretty good waves. The lefts were longer than the rights but i did get a fun right. I paddled really hard for it and i caught it and ended up getting two nosrides on it. One of my lefts I got this air drop that was really cool. Also, when I was getting out of the water this wave snuck up behind me and knocked me right off my feet! haha. So overall it was a fun session! Thanks for reading my first blog. I'm really excited!
