Rip My Shred Stick got off to a Ripshredding start with the first east coast event taking place at Sebastian Inlet Florida. 138 stoked out grommets lined up to share waves with their peers while being coached and pushed into waves by Rob Machado, Tmmy Curran, Asher Nolan, Mikey DeTemple and Evan Geiselman.

Event director Saxon Boucher had the kids fired up throughout the day setting up NIKE 6.0 Mutant hunts (similar to an Easter egg hunt) for rad prizes and fun sideline entertainment.

The waves had reportedly been flat at the Inlet for three straight weeks prior to today. We lucked out by scoring really fun surf with the lower tide...the groms were tearing up the little wedging rights.

After a long-fun-filled day, the party moved to Da Kine Diegos for a night event featuring a short set of electric guitar riffs and beautifully toned lyrics by Timmy Curran. That was followed by dinner, a slide show and culminated with a video of the days highlights on a big screen overlooking a grass meadow.

The days contestants and their families enjoyed the show recounting a truly great day which was ending under a gorgeous firey colored sky.
