Tag along on her tour with the Murder City Devils
The Murder City Devils played two sold-out shows in one day in good ol' San Francisco and I had the pleasure of being there.

So, the deal was, all of Murder City's gear and merch was in LA and needed to get to San Francisco.  The brother of a friend of mine works for them so we gladly took the responsibility of getting them their goods.   Got a van, loaded it up, snacks, good music and we
were on the road.  Another plus for me (other than the fact that I love road trips and Murder City rules) was that my best friend Meagan had just moved up there. So I was super excited to see her!  I love the drive to SF.  California is so beautiful which helps the six hours seem less.

We finally got there and the bands' flight was delayed.  Luckily the three of us who drove up and another friend that came out to help have done this before.  A tech to set up their gear, a sound guy and myself, the merch girl.  With the help of another past merch guy.I wasn't expecting to work but I didn't mind at all.  It had been a while since I sorted through hundreds of shirts and hoodies.  We called ourselves the B-team.  If your band is ever late for a show, we got you covered.  After all the work was done it was time for fun and we had a lot of it.  In the end, they cut it pretty close but they made it.  Practically having to walk straight on stage and start  playing.

They were very thankful and we were happy to help.  Both shows were amazing.  They are such a great band to see live and I was lucky enough to see them, 4 times?  Went to the LA shows too of course!

I met some real good people on that trip and the ride back was epic.  Closed roads and detours all the way to PCH.  I think it took us about 11 hours to get home.   Good times all the time. — Rosie
