SWELL/WEATHER SUMMARY
The south swell that was filling in today will continue on Wednesday with similar size surf, gradually easing through the day.
Smaller and less consistent surf will then prevail over the last couple days of the contest waiting period as the south swell fades and smaller pulses of SSW and SW swell move in.
We’ll also see a small northwest groundswell mix in on Thursday and Friday with occasional waist high sets.
We will continue to see some patchy fog in the early mornings over the next couple days, along with light wind and generally clean conditions. Skies will clear partially by the afternoon and west wind will build each day; to around 10kts+ on the days where the sun is able to break through, but lighter when the overcast/cloudy skies are able to stick around.
Next Update: Wednesday evening, September 21st (if necessary)
