Watch as Aamion Goodwin sits down with Chris Cote, Editor-In-Chief of Transworld Surf and talks about his ongoing film project, The Goodwin Project, the North Shore winter and shows off his gaping Pipe-induced leg wound.
Our friends over at Surfline caught up with Aamion, Daize and kids after their return from New York and Iceland. The Goodwins are currently half way through their round-the-the world surf adventure. So head over to surfline.com to find out what the family has been up to. And for more on their journey, head over to their blog, thegoodwinproject.com.
Aamion and family have been travelling the globe, hard at work on their new film. The family and crew are documenting their travels and the effect they have on their children, hosts, friends and ticket agents as they circumnavigate our planet through 18 countries and four seasons. The film is yet to be titled, as it is an adventure in the making. But we can tell you this: the Goodwins are currently in Thailand, their sixth country of the journey with twelve more to go. Head over to their blog for more stunning imagery from their travels.
Aamion Goodwin, his wife Daize and their two little ones are off on a surf/life adventure around the world, and they're letting you come with them. The Goodwin Project chronicles the making of their, as of now, unnamed movie with updates from all of their worldly stops. And if the Iceland and Ireland posts tell us anything, this movie is going to be a powerful one; in imagery and message. Follow the Goodwin's adventures here (make sure to watch the teaser).
This is one of those waves that gets passed along from friend to friend on facebook and email (it's so OMG). And it perfectly illustrates why Aamion is the recipient of a well-earned wildcard in the Pipe Masters this coming year. Video: Tom Aiello
