Over the weekend Timmy Curran made it three in a row with his win at this year's 5th annual Malibu Invitational -- a shortbaord invitational that benefts Jimmy Gamboa's TheraSURF, Lyon Herron and Babette Ho. Timmy posts an 18.50 two-wave total in the Final, taking the win on the strength of a double-grab air reverse which garnered a 9.77 from the judges. The win was doubly important, as it propelled Hurley to the Team championship also. Photos: Lallande
