Hurley Rocks You Back To School finished off the tour with an epic finale at the Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. Apparently everyone in the OC really likes to party. Maybe there is just a huge Surfer Blood fan base in this area - either way, 800 fans came out and a good time was had by all. Thanks to Honey Badgers and Hindu Pirates for making the night that much better.
Hurley Rocks You Back to School is coming to a close this weekend, and we're getting a little nostalgic. Here's a look back at our second stop of the tour in Norfolk, VA, where Mike and Rosie get a little crazy (look out for Rosie's dance moves and Mike's body slam into a wall). We have one last show in Orange County, so if you missed out on the other stops, make sure you come see us this Saturday.
See that to the left? That's Mike Escamilla racing on an ostrich in the Ukraine. Did we mention that Mike is now banned from Chernobyl for five years? But that's another story (and another photo, one which can be found by clicking through to the extended photo gallery). All this went down for his new show, "Strangers in Danger" which Mike sums up as, "Zack Yankush and me travelling the globe immersing ourselves in the local culture and cuisine; everything from fighting black belts in Korea to driving death roads in Bolivia." Yes, the shenanigans of Escamilla are pure entertainment and can be seen in all their glory on his new TV show, "Strangers in Danger" premiering this Tuesdays on Fuel TV at 10:30 PM.
Whether it's Chase DeHart, Colin Mackay or Kat Von D, friends and fans alike have been making loads of noise on Mike Escamilla's twitter account since The Come Up leaked his part in United's upcoming video yesterday. With sort of a back to the future feel (Rooftop chose the same Stones song that he used in his Dirty Deeds section that turned heads way back when), Escamilla impresses (in expected and not-so expected ways). Sit back and watch how a true pro gets 'er done here.
The first of our Phantom Sweepstakes winners is announced at ZJ Boarding House. Check the video highlights here. Video: PK. Photos: Michael Lallande
