Bob Burnquist just released a new video game. The game, inspired by his love for mega ramps, is set in Bob's backyard -- the original dreamland. And if for some strange reason you're not already convinced you need to download the game, the thing's FREE. Download it at the iTunes App store, and for more info on Bob's Dreamland head over to bbdreamland.com. Our review of the game: It's caused us to fall seriously behind on today's 'to do' list.
Bob's time in Santiago Chile featured some skydiving, the Yogu Yogu Mini-Megaramp Pro and plenty of fun. The contest was a unique one, with different action sports being pitted against one another. In the end, the crowd voted Bob and PLG the winners, giving skateboarding the win over BMX and FMX. Video: Bruno Passos
Bob Burnquist decided to take full advantage of his Dreamland Invitational's rain delay by surfing his brand new ramp with a little help from a surfboard/skateboard/duct tape combo (yet another use for duct tape!). Check Bob's surf sesh over at skateboard.tv. P.S. It's super rad!
Bob Burnquist celebrated the refresh of his backyard Mega Ramp by inviting the world’s top skaters as well as a few lucky VIP guests into his home for an event unlike any other. We could go on and on about how crazy and insane the Mega Ramp contest was, but we’ll just give you the Sparknotes version. Bob won. Bob “surfed” his ramp in the rain. Bob was the only one hitting the rail. Switch. The mega ramp is pretty mega. Chipotle cooked up tasty treats. And the weather for the finals was just dandy. Click through for photos from the weekend. Video to come soon...
