Hurley and Pacific Wave’s 5th Annual Spring Fling went down this past Sunday at Steamer Lane, Santa Cruz CA. Sunny skies and warm weather were replaced by chilly overcast skies and fog. Conditions were clean and waves contestable. Despite the brisk conditions, crowds gathered along the cliffs to cheer on, heckle and chant for their favorite surfers. Local and visiting competitors battled it out throughout the day, keeping the crowds fired up and focused on the action in the water.
