As a brand born from water, World Water Day is the epitome of a Hurley holiday. And though it might feel like every day is World Water Day at Hurley HQ, the Hurley H2O program is capitalizing on this opportunity to educate the public about global water scarcity. Three key programs will aim to combat the consumption of single-use plastics, as well as raise awareness around water conservation and clean water initiatives. These combined efforts will help to provide access to clean water for those in need.
To kick off the day, Rob Machado will pay a visit to Corona Del Mar High School for the 4th installation of Hydration Nation: a program that empowers students to raise awareness on their own campus, eliminate plastics and bring innovative filters to countries in need of clean water. Once completed, Rob will head back to Hurley HQ with Evan Marks from The Ecology Center for a digital Q&A with fans on the Hurley Facebook page. All the while, Hurley.com will be giving away free reusable water bottles with every purchase made on World Water Day.
