It wasn't your typical "clinic." No, the second annual People's Republic of Hurley was much more. And while a lot of learning went down, there was also a large helping of fun. The 120 shop kids that we invited from all over the country enjoyed sumo wrestling, a performance by Plague Vendor in the skate park, a Phantom Create tutorial, a sneak peek at our Fall line and a pair of free, customized shorts. And if anyone was looking for the icing on top of the cake, after all that, our guests hopped on a bus and headed to the SIMA Awards, where we won Boardshort of the Year for the fifth year in a row (more on that later!).
