Today, we're stoked to officially welcome John John Florence to the Hurley family.

Let us give you a brief overview of our newest team rider: John John started surfing at the age of three, competing at age seven, and took home a Triple Crown title, three Pipeline wins, an ASP win, a runner-up at Surfer Poll and finished fourth in the world... All before turning 20.

Since John John is a surfing prodigy who continues to push the envelope, the connection was obvious for us: join one of the most innovative surfers with our commitment to innovation. And we’re putting him to work right away; he will be collaborating with us on our next generation of Phantom boardshorts.

Said best by our VP Sports Marketing Pat O’Connell, “Dream what might be possible in surfing and I’m sure he is going to exceed it.” We are inspired by John John’s incredible talent, creativity, spirit and drive, and can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds.
