The story of Lakey Peterson's road to professional surfing is different than most girls on tour. While most girls we're basically doing air reverses at the age of 10 (cough cough, Carissa), Lakey was on the basketball court, not taking much to surfing until 12-years-old. Which is why her qualification for the ASP World Tour by the age of 17 (and finishing her rookie year with a better-than-decent 7th place) makes the title of her first film, Zero to 100, so fitting. Watch the trailer now, try not to ditch whatever you're doing to go surfing (or don't!) and keep chekcing LakeyPeterson.com for updates on the project.
