Being located right on the sand on the Newport Peninsula, Newport Elementary's Surf PE class was able to take advantage of the Phantom Van's full arsenal of surfboards shaped by Bob Hurley, Lee Stacey, Doc Lausch and Timmy Patterson at the Newport Pier. The boys and girls had a blast out in the waist high surf and got some incredible rides all the way through to the beach — check the photos in the 'full story' for evidence.
