RMSS just stopped by 22nd Street in Hermosa Beach, where 50 groms met up with Dane Zaun, Conner Coffin, Pete Devries, Beau Foster and Michael Dunphy for a day of surfing and fun. The spectators and judges were treated to quite a show as the close-to-shore conditions made for some crazy rides and even crazier wipeouts. Things really got going once the final rolled around and Finn Bertino channeled his inner-Gerry Lopez and threw down a soul arch tube ride -- which earned himself a first-place finish and new GoPro camera, Phantom Create boardshorts, Schwinn bicycle, Spy sunglasses and other goodies from FreeStyle, Mophie, Tranworld, Stance, Watermans and Futures.
