A massive thunderstorm and strong winds the night prior brought choppy seas and a sweeping current to Jennette's Pier in Nags Head, Outer Banks for stop number 13 of our Rip My Shred Stick Summer Tour. All 45 competitors showed no fear as they headed straight into the intimidating shorebreak, surfed some amazing waves and took a ton of heavy wipeouts. We'd like to give a big, virtual high five to everyone who came out and gave the heavy conditions a go, especially Jordan Montgomery (pictured above), who surfed his way to the big win.
