Galveston and Ohana Surf & Skate hosted us for the second Texas stop of the Rip My Shred Stick 2012 Summer Tour. A small, little windswell at the Galveston Pier provided the perfect opportunity for the 75 stoked kids to practice their longboarding and reach into their creative bag of tricks. With the help of Rob Machado, Pat O'Connell, Noah Snyder and Zach "Hula" Hartley, many kids stood up and surfed the first waves of their lives. And with those first-ever rides it's safe to say a new daily record of smiles and high fives has officially been set. A big thanks goes out to William "Boog" Cram and the crew at Ohana Surf & Skate for all their help in making this such a great event.
