Find out what the Hurley H2O intiative is and how you can help bring clean water to the world.
Hurley is a water-borne company. And when we see that 1 in 6 people in the world do not have access to clean water, it compels us to ask: What can we do to change this?
It started in 2008 with the founding of H2O, Hurley’s water initiative. The mission? To provide clean water for everyone. Since then, we’ve partnered with Jon Rose and Waves For Water, who are saving lives one filter at a time on the frontlines of countries like Haiti, Brazil and India. We’ve aligned with Evan Marks and The Ecology Center, a local organic farm that inspires the next generation of water activists. And we are raising awareness as a company. With surfing icon and humanitarian Rob Machado as our source of inspiration, water awareness is now a part of Hurley’s everyday conversation and helps inform our decision-making.
We will continue to strive for our goal five, 10 or even 20 years from now. But there are real solutions to this real problem, and it starts with each one of us.
In celebration of World Water Day (March 22), we ask you to join us in our quest to bring clean water to the world. Make a pledge , join Clean Water Couriers or simply use a little less water today. There is no task too large or too small to help keep the planet hydrated and healthy.
