It seems as though Corona Del Mar's Walk the Walk win at the US Open last summer only scratched the surface of the school's collective creative consciousness. The local high school has become a hotbed for creative young voices. Their latest microphone: a partnership with Hurley's art and design team that integrated students into real world projects. On January 29th, Hurley hosted the school's Student Tee Design Contest Reception at Hobie CDM, an event that featured the work created during this most recent collaboration with Hurley. Approximately 80 students from computer graphics and digital photography courses created and submitted artwork, from which the Hurley team chose three winners -- Jeff Stein (1st place), Taylor Byers and Will Lyle, respectively. The winning tees were then printed and are on display at CDM Hobie for the month of February.
