What are the six teams up to now?
The final six schools are getting serious. With the US Open and WTW National Championships only weeks away, these regional champs are busy perfecting their routines. Each team fills us in on what they have been working on during week 3.
Huntington Beach: Things are finally starting to fall into place. We cracked down and accumulated all of our ideas into a final lineup for the show, including music! Things are as stressful as ever because there are so many little details that need to be worked out. It has been hard to confine everything we want to do into 5 short minutes, but it’ll all be worth it once we’re able to strut our stuff down the runway.
Kellam: A couple of days ago we were invited to the Hurley Phantom truck down at our oceanfront and wow, what a fun event! There was music, free give a ways, and of course the pro surfers. This event really got us pumped for the competition. We pretty much have our show down, now we just need to perfect it. Get ready Huntington Beach, VB is coming to bring it!
Pearl City: This week has been full of excitement because we have been caught off guard many times. By dealing with the un-expected, we have really improved our performance. The Skull Candy and Converse Design Challenges have been intense to say the least. We feel that as each week goes by, we are becoming quite the “Ohana” (family). Dawn Hillary Pascual exclaims, “We got this!”
Toms River: Let the show begin! Sam and Gianna taught the team choreography for the show. Conor and Armando designed props that will tie our runway performance together. Gabby is already fitting outfits on our models. Get ready New Jersey to see everything Hurley throughout your local town. August is fast approaching and we can’t wait to show the world what New Jersey is really all about!
Lincoln: As I watch our show come together and unfold smoothly in front of my eyes I can’t help, but to smile. All of our ideas have come together so beautifully and I’m totally confident that our show will turn out to be an unforgettable one. Our confidence level is at its peak and I’m positive our show will be magnificent.
Corona Del Mar: Our third week is rolling by fast. Our Team Leaders decided on an amazing play-list, that we are sure you guys will love. There’s a lot to do, but we are getting it done in style! We also updated our website. Fans can now chat with friends on the forums, listen to music, and check out pictures, and find out about our events. We are working hard and are confident that we can win this thing.
