Our good friends Polar Bear Club dropped by the recording studio and tracked this awesome live version of See The Wind from their album Chasing Hamburg, out now on Bridge Nine records. The boys are currently wrapping up their US tour with Bad Religion, so you know they're having a good time!
Twenty four years young and hailing from the sunny coast of northeast Australia, Julian Wilson is a true athlete. Growing up with two older brothers, Bart and Seb, Julian stayed busy both in and out of the water. Skateboarding played a large role in Julian's aerialist approach to surfing, but his overall love for sports is what fuels his competitive nature. Whatever the game – golf, tennis, cricket – you can be sure that Julian will hold his own. Get to know Jules in his One & Only feature, where he breaks down what West Australia has to offer. See more of Julian here.
Our head girls designer, Tanya Corrao, knows a thing or two about boardshorts — that's why we thought it would be so cool to see what she would make on Phantom Create, our online tool where YOU are the designer! Tanya's shorts combine her love for animal print ("the blue and black cheetah print is really rad!") and her love for black, which she wears everyday. "I felt like they needed a little pop, so I added floral on the side panel. I also felt like the hot yellow would add some fun and give it a nice contrast. And it makes you look tanner, anyway!" Tanya said she would wear her Phantom Create Beachriders with a simple black bikini top, preferrably while she was paddle boarding. And we think that sounds awesome! See Tanya's shorts in detail here.
Look back at an epic winter on the North Shore of Oahu with Surflines Wave of the Winter: The Movie. Months of footage all culminate in this most epic of recaps which includes some of the biggest names in surf, charging in hopes of winning the $25,000 and bragging rights that come with Wave of the Winter. Congrats to Ricardo dos Santos, this year's winner (pictured here). What we have here is just the intro, so get psyched and then head over to Surfline.com for the full feature. Until next winter, boys!

With the help of friends at Hurley and Nike, Cameron got to see the Lakers VIP style with box seats, spend some time with the Laker Girls and meet his hero Pau Gasol. Check out the video and see how LTDF was able to bring his dream to life!
When John John hurt his ankle at Snapper, the surf world took a collective gasp, "no John John for the first leg of the tour?!" How could it be? But after the initial shock and a few doctors visits, John John found himself on the bright side of his ankle sprain and with enough free time to sit down and put together an edit. And not just any edit, shot on RED, it's one that will make you reevaluate the meaning of life. OK, maybe we're being a little dramatic, but the latest from John John Florence and editor supreme, Blake Kueny is really quite good and will at the very least make you want to go surf and skate, like, right now. Free To Roam is blowing minds at IP addresses all over the world, join the party here.
Go behind the scenes of one of the best events in womens surfing - ever. In it, Carissa Moore went on to win the Rip Curl Pro, but not before Lakey Peterson gave her a serious run for her money in the Semis. The healthy rivalry made for great spectating and some great insight to go along with it. Hear (and see) it all from the girls themselves in our latest #TOURNOTES.
This is something we've said before (just last week actually) and something we're bound to say again: Carissa Moore takes another final! This time winning the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach! Carissa surfed with her trademark power and grace (think huge rail carves, smooth as butter), surfing amazing heat after heat and eventually putting her face to face with Tyler Wright in the final. A huge score (9.57) early on in the heat ended up securing Carissa's win, as the ocean went flat for the remainder of the heat...save for a few last-minute fun ones! So how could she make this win even sweeter? How about knowing that on her way to the podium, she partook and starred in one of the greatest, if not the greatest, displays of womens surfing to date - thanks to the stellar performances from herself, Lakey Peterson, Sally Fitzgibbons and Courtney Conologue during the Quarters and Semis. Congrats, Riss! We're beyond stoked for you! See more from Carissa here. Photo: ASP/Kirstin
