OK fine, you caught us. We've got a thing for musicians. We can't help it, we're girls and some stereotypes really do hold true. But crushes aside, the new EP from Jean Noir is super catchy and, no joke, playing in our office 90% of the time. It's equal parts eighties-inspired, synth pop, new age love song, ethereal and awesome. So let your ears be happy here — and guys, we know you want to sing along, and that's totally fine with us.

You might think metalcore and surfing don't go together, but that probably means you've never heard of Parkway Drive (and that means we feel bad for you and your ears). But no fear, fans (and soon-to-be fans of the Aussie metalcore band) can rejoice as their new album, Atlas drops tomorrow, October 30th. And on top of it all, we've teamed up with the guys and want to give one of you a custom Parkway Drive guitar and Hurley prize pack, and we'll also give away a Phantom Protect hoodie to second and third place winners. All you need to do is follow us on the Twitter machine, follow them and then retweet us when we announce the contest. A few steps, sure, but the end prize is more than worth it. Good luck and head bang on.

There's something sinister lurking behind Rosie's spunky attitude and charming smile. And that something is a freakishly good Halloween playlist. We called upon the ghoul with the best iTunes library we know of and had her pick out her favorite creepy melodies (but knowing Rosie, these are songs she listens to all year long). Because for some, Halloween isn't just a holiday, it's a lifestyle. So meet us at the cemetry gates (with The Smiths) and we'll bark at the moon (with Ozzy Osbourne), because this is a Dead Man's Party (just like Oingo Boingo said it would be). Yes, it's Halloween (which more than a few of the songs on here are named), so get in the spirit with Rosie's Playlist. Awoooooo!

For their latest video, Suedeheade took a jump back in time, and the results were distinctively doo-wop, black and white and awesome. Click here to see Suedehead perform, "I Believe In Love" (with a sweet little cameo from our own C.R. Stecyk III).

Hurley Rocks You Back To School finished off the tour with an epic finale at the Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. Apparently everyone in the OC really likes to party. Maybe there is just a huge Surfer Blood fan base in this area - either way, 800 fans came out and a good time was had by all. Thanks to Honey Badgers and Hindu Pirates for making the night that much better.
