Fourteen year old Cody Lovaas is from Carlsbad, California and may or may not be a junior Jack Johnson. He came by our studios where he played the ukulele and guitar (which he's been practicing for 7 years). His music inspired by the beach, longboarding and influences like Jack, Donavon Frankenreiter and Jason Mraz. Check it out.

The UNSIGNED|UNREST project put together an album of 17 unreleased tracks, with 100% of the proceeds going to St. Jude's. So naturally, when we heard about a band that was "badass and trippy as sh*t," it was impossible to NOT share it with you guys.

After giving Bleeding Rainbow's new album, Yeah Right, a listen, we were hooked. Their sound is pretty unique to say the least: mellow indie meets retro punk rock with some psychedelic distortion and watery guitars. Think Broken Social Scene meets Best Coast in 1967.
