Equal Vision artists, The Fall Of Troy, stopped by the Hurley studio to hang out, play a couple of songs and make me laugh. It's been awhile since I've seen the band but their musical prowess has only increased especially with the new addition of bassist, Frank. They quickly performed 3 songs for us at Hurley including "I Just Got This Symphony On", "Chapter III: Nostalgic Mannerisms" and a brand new untitled song. The band is currently out on tour with Warship and The Number 12 Looks Like You. Stay tuned for the videos! For more check out: www.myspace.com/thefalloftroy

Timmy is currently filming a surf movie that will feature himself as well as many of Hurleys athletes like, Rob Machado and Dillon Perillo. The movie is based around a train ride up and down the coast, hooking up with the best surfers in their local spots. We'll keep you updated on the progress... Music wise, Timmy's debut video "Blue Eyes" was picked up by VH1 for 6 weeks this summer and has also been added to the rotation on MTVU, that plays around 30 times a week.. His video will be showing on HBO Zone between independent films and other segments.

Finally, the new trailer for "Marley and Me" featuring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, uses one of Timmys songs as the backdrop.

A few more days in England and we've seen some pretty interesting museums, stumbled into a beer-fest and watched some killer accordion player rip it up, picked up some late night burgers, eaten vitamins and drank tons of coffee. Today we are in Stoke. Tomorrow Norwich and then off to Europe.

Last night I went down to the Blue Beet Cafe in Newport Beach to see Corey Case perform an acoustic set. I was delighted with what I heard. It was very refreshing and organic feeling. Corey's girlfriend, and my school mate, Cassie told informed me that he plays all of the instruments in his recordings. I always admire those who can multi task in the music realm.
Check him out www.myspace.com/coreycasemusic & www.coreycase.com I highly reccomend "Dressed in White" and "It'll Be Alright"... they'll wisk you away to a warm lazy porch and put a cold glass of fresh lemonade in your hand.

The show friday night could not have gone better. You would not believe some of the incredible art hanging on the walls! So many wonderful talents all in one place. It was such a pleasure to be apart of such a huge event. There must have been hundreds of people. I was all packed up at the end of the night and ready to go, and Richard (The guy in charge of the event) asked me to come back and play another set the next night from 11- 12. So of course I did! That was an even better turn out, and I did an even BETTER performance. I was so amped. What a good weekend already. Sunday came and I went to Denver to busk. Let me tell ya, I was exhausted, but it didn't keep me from playing anyways.
Here are a few comments I received on my myspace page about the "Noc Mock" gig

Creating music has become more invigorating then ever before. Having a vision for a song- then chipping away at it until it becomes what you wanted and more is so rewarding. I believe it's like that with everything you have a passion for. Working hard really pays off... You should listen to my new songs on my myspace page and let me know what you think! 'Liebchen Lullaby' is the newest. Www.Myspace.Com/ChristinaDietz As of late I have been in the studio recording, I have been writing, and I have been working with my new band mates. We are a power trio! Me and the guitar, Melissa, my bass player and David, my mandolin player. I have some exciting shows all three of us are excited for. I'm just trying to get my music heard and stay creative. I recently just had a video shoot for 'Let's Just Kiss' Here are some pictures!

The boys from All Time Low stopped by the Chula Vista, CA Active Ride Shop on Friday afternoon to perform an exclusive in-store performance. We picked the boys up in the Hurley van and arrived at Active where the guys were greeted by a long line of fans waiting to see them. There was awesome turn out and the guys played a great 3 song acoustic set. Afterwards, the band stuck around for an autograph signing and hung out with fans.
Check out these pictures from the event! For more info on All Time Low Click Here!
