Maybe there is just a huge Surfer Blood fan base in this area - either way, 800 fans came out and a good time was had by all. Hurley Rocks You Back to School is coming to a close this weekend, and we're getting a little nostalgic. Here's a look back at our second stop of the tour in Norfolk, VA, where Mike and Rosie get a little crazy (look out for Rosie's dance moves and Mike's body slam into a wall). Austin, Texas hails itself as the live music capital of the world, so how could we not bring the Hurley Rocks You Back to School to its fabled music halls? Last Saturday Surfer Blood, local band Shivery Shakes (which isn't just super fun to say, but also super fun to see play), hosts Rosie O'Laskey and Mike Escamilla rocked Stubbs BBQ in Austin for a fun night of boot-scoot-boogeying with a decidedly indie twist.
